Its homecoming for model-turned-theater actor Ananya Dutta. She has been roped in for Amit Sen’s “Notobor Not Out”. Talking about her foray into Bengali cinema, Ananya says, while in Mumbai, I was concentrating on ad films and theater. Amit and I have worked in ad films too. We share a certain comfort level. Besides, I’ve also liked the script of his sensible comedy.

I’ve two lovely songs composed by Debajyoti Mishra in this film. While Raima (Sen) plays the love interest of Notobor, I play the girl on whom Notobor has a crush. Ask Ananya about the plot of the film and she says “Notobor is a quintessential Bengali guy with poetic aspirations but without the required talent.” Through some supernatural influences, he gets a magical quality of penning spontaneous poetry. Soon, he moves from his middle-class background to the up market advertising setup.
