| There are better ways of stopping traffic than having the signals turn red, as Bollywood glam girls Priyanka Chopra & Shriya Saran proved to fashion designer Vikram Phadnis.
Both appeared as his showstopper at the Gitanjali-sponsored Lakme Fashion Week where Phadnis presented as the Lux Show Time designer.
Wearing a short cocktail dress, Priyanka revelled in her moment under the sun. “The sun brilliantly complements the colours of my dress and skintone,” she said. Phadnis agreed. “The Lux woman stands for charisma and glamour and Priyanka truly embodies these qualities,” he added.
Today, incidentally, is the designer’s birthday and the double whammy celebrated with Shiamak Davar and his dance troupe setting the ramp ablaze for actresses Shriya Saran and Priyanka to scorch with their own sex appeal. “Isn’t Show Time all about that,” asked Vikram Phadnis.
Team India's Pacer Sreesanth also performed a catwalk putting the ramp on fire wearing a dress designed by him.
