Hairdresser Dilshad is responsible for Shah Rukh's new cut. It is believed that the actor will trim his hair shorter after a few days. Almost like a crew cut. According to a source, "His hair cut was done in three stages. He is sporting the second stage look and will further chop his hair shorter in a few days."
In My Name Is Khan, Shah Rukh plays a character called Rizwan Khan, who suffers from Asperger's Syndrome, a relatively milder form of autism.
The first half of the film is based on a true story that happened to a couple and Karan Johar has bought the story rights from the couple. Shah Rukh will leave for Los Angeles in the second week of December. The film will also be shot in New York in the next schedule.
The film brings SRK and Kajol back together. Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan have so far starred together in the following films, all of which turned out to be hits Baazigar (1993), Karan Arjun (1995), Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001).

| Bollywood's reigning star Shahrukh Khan is now producing a comedy serial and launched it today at Hotel Taj Land's End, Mumbai.
The show, called Ghar Ki Baat, is being produced under veteran Aziz Mirza, who's a part of Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment company.
The two, Khan and Mirza, worked together on SRK's serial Circus, which came on Doordarshan 20 years ago. Since then the two have made many films together including Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Yes Boss and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani.
Ghar Ki Baat stars Juhi Babbar, Sumeet Raghavan, Swapnil Joshi and Jayati Bhatia. The serial will air weekly on NDTV Imagine and is being directed by Anant Mahadevan.
Sources said the serial was inspired by the legendary Doordarshan show Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi. The serial marked the debut of Satish Shah, who created a sensation with his new role in each episode. Shafi Inamdar, Swaroop Sampat (now married to Paresh Rawal) and Rakesh Bedi acted in it.
Shah Rukh Khan's experience in television has spanned his career. He began with Fauji and Circus and for the last couple of years has been on TV hosting first Kaun Banega Crorepati III and then Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?

| ShahRukh Khan was admitted to hospital in Mumbai for a 90-minute surgery on Monday for a torn muscle in his left shoulder.
The 43-year-old actor hurt himself in December last year while filming "Dulha Mil Gaya" . He has had a partial tear in his left shoulder since 2003 but has since developed into a complete tear.
Doctors said the minimally invasive surgery was a complete success and the actor would be discharged in a day or two though his left arm would have to be in a sling for up to a month.

| Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan sashayed down the ramp for fashion designer Manish Malhotra's collection at Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) in Mumbai on Monday.
Malhotra showcases another set of collections on the fourth day of LFW by using colour of Kolkata knight Riders, Khan's team of Indian Premier League. The collection was primarily in golden and black colour with hints of deep red deep blue and deep green.
Khan dressed in the colours of Knight Riders, wore black harem pants, a black blazer with golden buttons and a gold-and-black.
Bollywood actors namely Kajol, Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Amisha Patel, Tusshar Kapoor, Genelia D' Souza, Arjun Rampal and wife Meher, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor were seen sitting in the first row.
Talking to reporters after the show, Kajol said, "The show was superb and it was really-really an amazing collection."

| The six week hunt for cheerleaders for IPL Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is reaching its climax with the grand finale with none other than Superstar Shahrukh Khan and Juhi Chawla appearing as judges.
The enthusiasm of the finalists was quite high and SRK fulfilled the dream of angels to dance with him and he even made Sourav Ganguly dance with him on Korbo Lorbo Jetbo the song for KKR.
The surprise element in the episode is interesting trivia round which was designed by Juhi Chawla for Shahrukh wherein she asks questions to the Angel girls about Shahrukh the owner of IPL. Shahrukh Khan was at his best as always and Juhi was equally cheerful. The dance guru Shaimak Davar was also present. Shantrunjay Gaikwad son of cricketer Anshuman Gaikwad had danced with angel contestant Sanna in one of the previous episode so when he returned in the finals everyone started teasing him to get paired with him.
The previous episodes had Anushka Sharma, Minnisha Lamba, Malaika Arora Khan, Lara Dutta and Deepika Padukone as judges. SRK and Juhi added the spunk to the grand finale and all the contestants present were too happy to be the part of the Knight and Angels. Pranjal Khandhdiya creative head-non-fiction of Red Chillies Idiot Box, says, âKnight and Angels the reality show to hunt for cheerleaders has reached its climax. Shahrukh Khan and Juhi Chawla charmed everyone and all the contestants were extremely happy to perform in their presence. The grand finale episode would be telecast on Saturday at 9 p.m.

The Cheer leaderâs girls -- Ananya Bera, Sanna Chirawawala, Sunanda Hiroo, Rupali Kantharia, Ritika Chibber and Samyukta Surendar -- are back after a ten day trip. They were taken as the part of the team. They are very happy with the experience as cricket is the flavour of the season. This experience was a life time experience for them.
They got an opportunity to perform during the cricket carnival road show at least; they drove around in Cape Town in an open bus with the players and owners of Kolkata Knight Riders. They cheered to the team's theme song, Korbo Lorbo Jitbo re. The girls are quite happy as they watched the matches from the VIP box, along with SRK and his family. They watched three matches and KKR was playing in two of those. They accompanied the team to the dinner party and interacted with most of the KKR players. The girls got to go sightseeing and do some shopping in South Africa as well.The girls also accompanied the team to the after-match dinner party and interacted with most of the KKR players.
Says Ritika, "We were so excited to get an opportunity to go to South Africa. There were the players and there was Mr SRK!"."We were put up in apartments just opposite the hotel where Shah Rukh stayed," adds Sunanda who has shifted base to Mumbai from Kolkata to seek a career in entertainment.
Adds Ananya who is a Class 12 student, "This trip made us forget all the despair we had. Shah Rukh has told us that we will be the cheerleaders for KR when the IPL will be held next year in India.

| Shahrukh Khan is extra busy these days. He hosted a farewell party for good friend Gerard Butler before he leaves India.
Butler has been in the country for a while, travelling around in his quest for peace. First, he went to Jaipur to give Priyanka company while she was shooting for What''s Your Rashee? Then he landed in Varanasi before heading for the Himalayas.
After all the travelling, the Scottish actor will be spending time with Priyanka in Mumbai before leaving on May 2. The party held at SRK's home.
The get-together might give Butler a chance to meet some of the Bollywood biggies. SRK'sâs guest list includes Dino Morea, Amrita Arora and Shakeel Ladak, Farhan Akhtar and wife Adhuna Akhtar, Imran Khan and girlfriend Avantika and Karan Johar.

It must be nothing new for Shahrukh Khan to have intruders on his sets while shooting. But, this one visit he had while shooting for âMy Name is Khanâ in San Francisco was unique!
Shahrukh Khan is presently shooting in San Francisco. The city of Golden Gate, Heritage homes & Cable cars. These unique aspects make SF a popular tourist destination. Seeing people from across the world roaming about in the city is an every day sight.
But what happened a few days ago in San Francisco, was something unimaginable. San Francisco was witness to two most unique looking tourists â ever.
The people in the city noticed two green color, flubber-like characters roaming around the city streets. Some people were amused, some excited and some awestruck. But surprisingly, some people ventured to click snaps with them because they found them to be very cute & cuddly. But what was clear was that they were in SF searching for someone.
Finally, after a long search across the city, these characters found what they were looking for. Straightaway, they barged into a Bollywood shoot location and reached up to a vanity van, which had a signage saying âRizvanâ.
The two characters named Chouw and Mouw just barged into SRK's van and when they were stopped by the security, they started screaming for Shahrukh. It was all quite a commotion till SRK stepped out of the van and surprised the entire unit by identifying them as his friends from India.
That's not all, Chouw & Mouw also got him a gift, which was confiscated by the security guys thinking it was some suspicious object. As soon as SRK opened the gift box, guess what he saw - a switch. And, SRK, obviously had to hit it. That was it. Something blew out of the box over Golden Gate Bridge and reached the sky! It was the green lava-like brand new logo of Videocon!
Chouw & Mouw are the central characters of a new ad campaign, depicting the positive dimension of change when they come together. They are shown in different situations transforming lifeâs of others. Chouw is the bigger, giant looking character but at heart he is kind and empathetic. But Mouw, who is tiny and small, is a clever and street smart. When they come together they create magic, bringing about change and delight in everyoneâs life.

It was a day of crazy excitement at IIPM. At 2 pm the badshah of bollywood Shahrukh entered the IIPM campus along with Prof.Arindam Chaudhuri. As the roof of the convertible Bentley opened and Shahrukh came out, the campus went berserk!
Placards and posters saying Shahrukh will you marry me, Shahrukh come with us to Switzerland etc gave him the kind of welcome that only he could have generated. After a brief but very witty interaction with the press, Shahrukh went straight for the quiz where more than a thousand students and guests were waiting with anticipation âHi ShahrukhâŚ,â shouted a 20-something young man, all clad in black, from one corner of the dimly lit quizzing hall, as the country's topmost entertainment icon walked in the quizzing arena, to host the inaugural Business and Marketing B-School Quizzing event at IIPM, New Delhi.
The audience broke into a series of applause with over 1000 IIPM students and guests chanting King Khan's name and shrieking at the top of their voice. Nothing could have been apt for an eventful start to one of the most challenging and exciting quizzing events, Dare'09, organized jointly by IIPM, the largest B-School on the planet along with 4Ps Business and Marketing, the most widely read Business and Marketing magazines in the country.
