| Kick-starting her first promotional tour for her new album 'Dard-e-Sherlyn', the 'outrageous' singer and actress Sherlyn Chopra made an appearance to a packed audience this week at Club Tantra discotheque at the esteemed Park Hotel in Kolkata.
Sending the audiences in what her organisers termed as an "orgasmic frenzy", the firebrand grooved two remixes of the "Dard-e-Sherlyn" title track by DJs Akbar Sami and Pramz with aplomb.
But the highlight of her appearance remained her controversial trademark diamond-studded bikini top. It can be recalled that her show organisers had panicked last week about the bold and flamboyant girl wearing this bikini top along with her golden hot pants that she has famously worn in the new superhit video of her remix album.
Apart from expecting trouble from unruly crowds due to the skimpy attire, the organisers had felt it was very risky for her to wear the bikini top as it is actually studded with a couple of real diamonds on the sides. For the sake of safety, Sherlyn was provided eight bouncers besides the stage and four civil dress security men in the audience.
After the runaway success of her first album 'Outrageous' on T-Series, Sherlyn emerged a diva, out to make men go weak in their knees. The second album 'Dard-e-Sherlyn' is her tribute to the original dreamgirl Hema Malini and takes off from her 1976 hit song "Mujhe dard rehta hai, dil mein dard rehta hai…" from the film 'Dus Numbri'. But the "Dard-e-Sherlyn" video has already attracted 19 cuts from the Censor Board and also invited the ire of Hema Malini. The new remix video is set to hit our TV screens next week.

| The Thailand-based, $100-million Kyra Mode company, has entered into a licensee based agreement with the US based Playboy Enterprises Inc to launch its lingerie brand – Playboy Intimates. The lingerie brand will be pitted against brands such as Triumph and Lovable in the Indian market. At a press conference, Mr Theprit Srichawla, Managing Director, Kyra Mode Company said, “India has a huge untapped market for luxury lingerie in India and are targeting Rs 20 crore in the first year of the launch.” Playboy Intimates will be distributed in India through Gamma Textile Ltd.
Audio of animation film Cheenti Cheenti Bang Bang was released in style. There was performance by black and red ant. The film is written and directed by R.D Mallik and produced by N.D Nagpal of Elcom Fiesta Entertainment P.Ltd. Music of the film is given by Jeet Ganguly. Anjan Shrivastava was the first to come as he has given his voice for the black ant in the film. Sudesh Bhonsle, Shaan, Jeet Ganguly came later for the function. Pooja Misra was the host of the event but she came late as she was stuck in traffic. DJ Sheizwood, Bobby Darling and Makrand Deshpande were the last to come. Yogesh Lakhani came on time. This film is going to be released on 10th october all over and film is dubbed in 7 languages. Mahesh Manjrekar and Asrani were not there for the party as they were out of Mumbai for shoot. The party went till 11.30 pm. Fifteen minutes of film was shown to media and guest.

She was not informed about the bikni scene so she was very upset when she was told to wear one. She put her foot down and chose to wear a sarong over it as the scene was to be picturized on Delhi roof where she is sun bathing and all neighbors come to their roof to see a gori firang having a sun bath.
