Not many know that it's actually the sets of Ramoji studios that got converted into a small village called Sajjanpur. And whenever the cast used to report on the sets, it had almost become a ritual that they used to greet each other by saying "Welcome To Sajjanpur". That's when Shreyas hit upon an idea and requested Shyam Benegal to rename the film as Welcome To Sajjanpur, a suggestion that Shyam loved so much that he immediately renamed the film from Mahadev Ka Sajjanpur to Welcome To Sajjanpur. Way to go, Shreyas!

The awards have been instituted by Rajkamal Academy of Cinematic Excellence (RACE).
The biggest names in the Indian film industry will vie for the top honours, said Kiran Shantaram, Chairman of the Academy.
RACE has over 100 veterans from film fraternity across the country as its members who select and shortlist the nominees. Based on V Shantaram's principle, films that handle social themes, provide wholesome entertainment and display novelty or exceptional talent are given a preference, Kiran Shantaram said.

Shekhar (Akshaye Khanna), an aspiring assistant director, and Chandu (Arshad Warsi), a wannabe junior artiste, meet each other while struggling to make it in the film industry. As luck would have it, Chandu manages to steal Shekhar’s prized script and is catapulted to super- stardom.
