Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is a forthcoming film that stars Shahrukh Khan and newcomer Anushka Sharma in pivotal roles.Directed by Aditya Chopra, who earlier directed hits like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) and Mohabbatein (2000), the film is currently in its filming stage and is expected to release on December 12, 2008.
Here’s the storyline, apparently the film is a very earthy romantic film about Shah Rukh Khan who is married to Anushka Sharma and there is a huge age difference between them and they are not what one would call a perfect couple. They are merely stretching their marriage with no real romance in between them. They are two very different people. There’s reality dance show called Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi - which is the main backdrop of the movie. The show is on the lines of popular television show, Nach Baliye.
Aaparently Anushka wants to take part in the dance competition but she can’t because her husband is old and not hip and happening she fears that if she dances with him, she will lose the show and become the laughing stock among all her friends, who are taking part in the same.
Shah Rukh Khan overhears his wife’s problem and decides to go in for a makeover. He then watches some movies and changes his image completely and comes back to the show and woos Anushka off her feet.
All the way through the dance competition, she keeps falling in love with this new and improved Shah Rukh Khan, without once realising that the man she is dancing with is her real husband.”

Abhay Deol has a penchant for off-beat roles in equally off-beat films (remember Manorama Six Feet Under, Ek Chalis Ki Last Local?).
This time around the actor is playing a thief Bunty alias Devendra who gave the Delhi Police sleepless nights in his latest film, Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye.
The film, which is based on the real-life story of a thief called Bunty, also stars Paresh Rawal , who for the first time will play a triple role. Dibakar Banerjee (of Khosla Ka Ghosla fame) has directed the movie.
The real Bunty led a very colourful life. He ran such a smooth operation that even the police wondered how he managed to pull off jobs with such finesse. Nevertheless, he had 350 cases of robbery and forgery filed against him.
Bunty’s fondness for the luxurious life introduced him to the life of crime. Interestingly, Bunty also wanted to be an actor and had come to Mumbai to try his luck, but failed.
