Radio One has announced a week long Speed Dating contest with an event titled “Radio One’s Dating Fataafat” held at Mumbai’s uber hip restaurant Vie Lounge. Mallika Sherawat and Ranvir Shorey stars of soon to be released movie “Ugly aur Pagli” added zing to the evening, joining in the festivities.
After they unveiled the curtain to launch the event, Mallika said “I think it’s a great idea from Radio One to help people find mates in this busy city.” Both Ranvir and Mallika encouraged participants to go ahead and give it their best, participate fully, as they could possibly make a friend at the event, and possibly make somebody more than a friend.
Rahul Bose, the unconventional actor, is renowned for rediscovering himself and coming up with something new everytime. This time, Bose is all set to play six different characters in his upcoming film, “Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam”.
“Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam” is a mad riot involving a drama troupe - Kalakar Natak Company that produces socially relevant plays, which no one understands and nobody sees. The movie also stars the ravishing Mallika Sherawat and comedy icon Paresh Rawal. A parody of the song, ‘Pyar kiya to darna kya’, has been filmed on Mallika Sherawat, which is said to be one of the highlights of the film.
Perizaad Zorabian and an Indian pop singer, actress, model and former MTV VJ Raageshwari enjoyed the performance of belly dancer at the celebration of fourth anniversary of Arts in Motion Dance Studio .
Aanchal Gupta’s Arts in Motion Dance Studio which believes in Dance with Joy. After nearly four months of intensive workshops and classes, students get on their feet for the final act. Veronica Simas de Souza Rosas has choreographed the belly dance routine; Henry Stevens is in charge of hip hop, jazz and modern; and Melvin Louis is the force behind krumping. Gupta has given this year’s show a charitable twist.
Thirty street children from non-governmental organisations across Mumbai who have been trained by Gupta and Stevens will also perform. The evening show also includes items by the choreographers of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.
Helen who is Best known for her vamp acts and flamboyant dance sequences in Bollywood movies of the 1960s and ’70s.Helen is all set comeback with director Rajiv Sharma’s Bachpan.
Helen will play the lead role along with Padmini Kolhapure. Helen’s leading man in the film is Tom Alter, and Padmini Kolhapure plays their daughter. The cast also boasts of four child actors who will essay the role of Helen’s grandchildren. The plotline revolves around the love-and-hate relationship that Helen shares with her grandchildren. Helen is a hot-tempered and orthodox lady in the film.

The Unforgettable Tour, Indian Cinema’s biggest night out ever, unveils in the splendid city of Toronto on 18th July 2008 at the Roger Centre. Almost the entire team of Mission Istanbul graced the occassion at the launch of C’est La Vie at Bandra in Mumbai.
