Anamika Khanna’s tryst with design and style began with the Damania Fashion Award in 1995. The Damania Fashion Award jumpstarted her career,and saw the beginning of the label “ANAMIKA KHANNA”.

She was nominated at the MTV Youth Icon Awards 2003 as the Breakthrough Designer of the Year, at the MTV Lycra Style Awards 2004 as the Designer of the Year, at the F Awards as the Designer of the Year (Women – Prêt), 2004 and received a nomination at the MTV Style Awards 2005 for the Designer Of The Year. She was also featured in the Elle 50 Style Icons of the Year, 2006 and in the Verve Power Issue 2006. She has been invited to showcase her collection at the Will’s Lifestyle India Fashion Week Grand Finale AW 08 edition again this year.
