As CNBC-TV18 celebrated its ninth year in India, it proudly carried on its tradition with the India Business Leader Awards (IBLA) that was held on Thursday night. IBLA started in 2005 and it gives prominence and recognition to leaders who have made a difference in their respective fields.
Among the other winners, Mukesh Ambani who came with wife Neeta Ambani won the award for Reliance Industries as the Outstanding Company of the Year. Deepak Parekh took home the coveted Outstanding Business Leader of the Year award, while Deputy Managing Director of NSE Chitra Ramakrishnan bagged the business woman of the year award. Aamir Khan bagged the award for the Entertainment Business Leader of the Year. Uday Kotak won CNBC Asia’s Business Leader Award.
